Bored o’ those landlover match-three games?  Then you’ve found the right game ye’ scurvy scalawag. If any genre is in need of a shakeup, it’s match-three puzzlers.  So I commend Wildmane Studios for trying something different with the stale titles.  That said “simple arithmetic” is a risky gimmick – just ask Donkey Kong Jr. Math. The numbers aren’t the issue here.  The arithmetic is indeed simple.  It’s more stemming from the general gameplay, the unique adding combination techniques, knocking coins out, etc.  Typical match-three games offer some of the most intuitive,…

If there’s one thing for sure that can be said about Ballpoint Universe is that it’s a weird game. Never mind that all the art are doodles created from a ballpoint pen, but the game just starts you off in a strange world with no indication of what to do. It takes a while to process everything Ballpoint Universe throws at you and make sense of it. When you finally do, you realize the game tries to be part shoot’em up and part platformer but doesn’t really hit the mark that well in either case. The story is set in a world inhabited by doodles and an evil force called…

They are freedom and independence in the great blue sea. Sailboats are for old men and motorboats don’t let you do flips in mid-jump. What other mode of marine transportation lets you speed through the narrow walls of a canyon? This is like real life Star Wars pod racing. Leave the canoe behind and get on a jet ski.
