In celebration of Batman Day, a spotlight on some fantastic Caped Crusader deals! Looking at Nintendo's modern systems, it's obvious we've missed out on some Batman gaming goodness, whether it be pre-order bonuses, DLC, or even entire games. But we've also been lucky to receive some special editions and system exclusives along the way. WayForward's Batman: The Brave and the Bold games for Wii and DS really appeal to the retro gamer in me, with lovingly animated sprites and old-school, beat-em up gameplay. Arkham City: Armored Edition throws in new features and DLC on disc - a definite bonus!

This is a strategy game you might recognize from various mobile devices where you can play it for free.  On 3DS you have to pay $10 for the privilege.  This pricing discrepancy’s not uncommon when mobile titles get ported to 3DS, but though I’m growing accustomed to it doesn’t make it right!  This pricing even reflects ignorance of similar eShop games, as both the Conqueror titles have released for much cheaper, and from the same developer and publisher no less! Glory of Generals is a formulaic war game that’s unsurprisingly quite similar to the Conqueror games.  As such, it…

Today some more information was revealed about the upcoming game, and the new information should please those looking forward to the game. Atlus has announced the release date for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. The dungeon-crawling Persona game will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on the 25th of November, the Tuesday right before Thanksgiving. Persona Q is not your typical Persona game as it draws inspiration from another Atlus franchise: Atrian Odyssey. While the game does feature characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4, the exploration is pure Etrian Odyssey. Players will navigate dungeons in a first-person perspective while drawing their own maps of the dungeon using a grid-based map making system on the…

  • Nintendo 3DS Review

    23 Jul 2014 | 9:53 am
Handheld gaming is not a new idea, but with every new piece of innovation, big or small it’s getting rapidly closer to the experience that we have on a home console or a PC, this handheld generation being as close to that idea as any handheld generation before, but does Nintendos 2011 gimmicky handheld reflect that type of gaming, or is it not worth your time? 22 Jul 2014 | 5:38 pm
Plenty of fishiness arose when West Games launched their Kickstarter for Areal, a spiritual successor to popular game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Now, however, it turns out that the Kickstarter Administration has found out about this project, because it has been indefinitely suspended. West Games reached out to us to clarify a few things, but to be blunt, this project as a whole is almost definitely a scam. Take a…
