Here’s something interesting to watch over the weekend. The speedrun world record for Super Mario 64 has been broken by a Japanese player named Nero. The game was confirmed to include around 20 to 30 new stages plus re-imaginings of old stages as hidden ones, around 15 projectiles and New 3DS enhancements. The game’s title for the moment isn’t confirmed, but a temporal one is used (it would be New Kersploosh here). Despite that the original Kersploosh (or Splash or Crash in Europe) was published by Nintendo in the west, there is no word on a localization from the company…

Past Due Reviews. With a strong emphasis of indie games on the Wii U and 3DS, sometimes games get lost in the shuffle of reviewing others and never received their shining moment. Past Due Reviews goes back to check what indie games we missed to give them a full review.   I have played many games in the past, and though most of them had a few jokes or a little bit of comedy, the times I have truly laughed when playing a game are pretty rare; often they are limited to just a smile. Even rarer are occasions where I laugh many times when playing a game, but Stick It To The Man is one…
  • Shadow Blade: Reload Heading to the Wii U

At one time, ninjas were a hot commodity. It spread to all areas of pop culture, from awesome games like Tenchu, Ninja Gaiden, Legend of Kage, and Shinobi, awesome cartoons like Ninja Turtles, even  bad movies like the 3 Ninjas series. For some reason though, ninja video games seemed to have died down a little bit. Fans of old school 2-D ninja games should perk up though, because Shadow Blade: Reload is heading to the Wii U, and it looks very promising. Shadow Blade: Reload is a 2-D sidescroller based on, well, ninjas. You play as Kuro, who is seeking the teachings of the last ninja master…
